Privacy policy
What Send2PC collects, why, and how files sent through the service are handled.
This is a plain-language draft that describes how the product works. Have it reviewed by a legal professional before you publish it.
Who this covers
Send2PC is used by two groups: shop owners, who create an account and install the Windows app, and their customers, who send files to a shop by scanning its QR code.
What we collect from shop owners
- Account details you give us: shop name, your name, phone number and email address.
- Details of the PCs you activate: PC name, app version and when it was last online.
- A record of each transfer your shop receives: time, number of files, file names and sizes.
What we collect from customers
Customers do not create an account. We receive the files they choose to send, an optional name or note they type, and technical details such as IP address that every web request includes.
How files are handled
- Files are accepted only if they are an allowed type (documents and images). Programs and scripts are rejected.
- Files are held on our server only so they can be delivered to the shop's PC.
- When the shop's PC confirms it has saved a transfer, our copy of those files is deleted.
- If the shop's PC is offline, files are kept temporarily so they can be delivered when it reconnects.
- After delivery, the files are on the shop's own PC and the shop owner is responsible for them.
Who can see what
- The shop owner can see the transfers and file names sent to their own shop.
- Send2PC staff can see transfer records (time, size, status) to provide support. The admin tools do not display file contents.
- We do not sell personal data.
Your choices
Shop owners can update their name and phone number, change their password and deactivate a PC from the dashboard. To close an account or ask about your data, contact [email protected].
